Ipoh Food

Hi, being Ipoh-mali myself, I have not been posting on the famous food from Ipoh. So here's some info on Ipoh food. Sorry about the quality of the pics, taken with my phone cam.
This pic above is Hakka Mee , a flattish noodle mixed with fish sauce & dark soya sauce, with minced pork & Fei Yuen. What is Fei Yuen? It's a ball of fish paste+pork+dried cuttlefish. The taste? Best la.. Can't find this in KL. KL's hakka mee is no different from wanton mee as far as I'm concerned. Found this at Paris Restaurant, along Hugh Low St, Just a block away from new town police station.
Here's a bowl of steamed milk, a bit like tau fu fa, the only thing that's worth mentioning other than the usual dim sum at Foh San, the largest dim sum restaurant in Ipoh. I follow the Ipoh Food Blog for my food hunt in Ipoh, http://www.j2kfm.com/ultimate-ipoh-food-list/
Among my favourites, Ngau Lam Fun of Beef Noodles, left bowl is Ngau Lam or beef brisket, right bowl is beef balls & beef tendon balls. Damn, I'm getting hungry just posting this... Found at Sin Lean Lee
The taste? Also can't find in KL! Reference: http://www.j2kfm.com/ipoh-old-town-golden-char-kuey-teow-sin-lean-lee-restaurant/
This bowl of seafood noodles is absolutely lip smacking! Fully loaded with seafood. Only rm9. Cheap compared to KL's Segambut rm17 seafood noodles. Found at: http://www.j2kfm.com/kim-kee-seafood-noodle-ipoh-kafe-kim-keei-off-jalan-bendahara/

Oh my... this plate is glutinous rice with kaya is so sinful, I tell you.. Can find in KL but just not the same. Reference: http://www.j2kfm.com/keng-nam-ipoh-curry-mee-pulut-kaya/
Bowl of beef curry noodles. Where to find in KL?? This is so good too! Just can't get enough of Ipoh food!
Can't remember where I found this but if I think it's at Sin Yin Loong. reference:  http://www.j2kfm.com/ipoh-white-coffee-outlets/
Famous Ipoh Sar Hor Fun & Popiah at Kong Heng. reference: http://www.j2kfm.com/ipoh-kong-heng-restaurant-old-town-hawker-food/
Oh, this chicken chop with broccoli/carrots & potato fried with onions is my own cooking! Delicious! Yes, this blogger can cook too!
