K.K. trip August 2012

Hi all! Here's my food post from my recent KK trip in August 2012

Was at Kah Hiong beef noodles & once again, failed to take pics of what I ate b'cos as soon as the bowl of noodles arrived, it's gone! Haih... it's too good! Hungry also la... Hehe!
Mixed fish innards in soup with bihun at Houng Kee, Damai Plaza. Everybody said the ingredients was 1st class!
At Sri Mutiara restaurant, SEDCO Square, we had Tung Fung Lor
 and braised fresh abalone
and Sabak Clams steamed with ginger & glass noodles
Steamed fresh crispy prawns, in Cantonese, Pak Cheok Ha.
 Steamed normal garoupa
Another night we went again to Sri Mutiara & ordered these.. Shark lips
Shell meat Kahanga with dried chillies.
 Steamed Tiger Garoupa
Steamed Scallops with ginger & glass noodles
Lunch at Hilltop's Jin Jin Restaurant, fried garoupa slices
and tomato soup based, mixed fish bihun. The soup is so very nice indeed!
Breakfast at Yee Fung coffeeshop at Gaya St. :  this is claypot chicken rice
and this is the reason for coming to Yee Fung, Sarawak Laksa! Of cos, can't compare to original from Sarawak la...
Here's the menu at Yee Fung.
Dinner at Ang's Hotel,  ground floor shop. Across from Wisma Merdeka. Braised pig's trotter, chicken in batter, ginger onion fish slices, chicken wings, bitter gourd venison. Yummy! Food was fast & good. The place was packed to the brim.
Breakfast at Kedai Kopi Kinabalu, off Gaya Street. Ngiu Chap with bihun.

Ngiu chap with kolo mee
Sheng Rou Mian or translated: Fresh pork noodles
Pork noodles from Kedai Kopi Melanian parallel road to Gaya St.
At the Filipino market, we quenched our thirst with this.
Last lunch before going back to KL, we had mixed fish noodles at a different location. Kedai Kopi Wan Wan, which was again very good. This is in a light industrial area.
 This is what they have
I ate this, fish head bihun.
My friend ordered this, fish slice bihun.
I also ate this , fish noodles, made entirely from fish paste.
This is steamed mayau fish and it tasted like mui heong salted fish! Heavenly man!! Their menu is below.
